Chela sits on a director's chair with an open notebook and pen in her hand, and a smile on her face. At her feet, Arun sits cross-legged, also with an open notebook and huge grin.

Chela Reyna and Arun Blair-Mangat met on January 5th, 2023, National Screenwriters’ Day, on a panel at Soho House West Hollywood, alongside two Oscar-winning filmmakers. They immediately bonded over their shared passion for storytelling - Chela drawn to Arun's infectious optimism and wit, and Arun captivated by her magnetic presence and curiosity.

After that first meeting, they went their separate ways, Arun back to London, Chela to Hawaii. But they stayed connected, each inspired by the other. Arun returned to the writers’ room for Spellbound (Hulu), where he wrote seven episodes of the YA series, while Chela finished ghostwriting two books, published IGNITE, and developed her romantic thriller series.

Then in the fall of 2024, their paths crossed again in Los Angeles and they decided to join forces to bring their shared vision to life. Their mission: ignite creativity, encourage curiosity, and foster community.

Today they run the WEHO WRITERS CLUB and host workshops and events at the very venue where they first met, as well as Little Beach House Malibu, Soho Warehouse, and The Aster Hollywood. They also lead collaborative experiences for teams and companies, using the power of storytelling and creativity to inspire connection and new ideas. Alongside this work, they are developing a dynamic slate of projects across film, television, and digital, and serve as creative consultants for world-renowned brands and talent.

At the heart of it all is their belief in the transformative power of creativity.
